CDR King Camera Flash TT520 Review

Some might say that photography is an expensive art to practice. Somehow the statement is true, but for those who are passionate about photography, it's not expensive. Since I am not planning for practicing photography in full time, I've decided to purchase some gears that might help me get a better shot compared with just using Adobe Photoshop to improve my image quality.  Last 2013, While browsing for a decent USB flash disk in CDR King at SM Clark, my eyes stumbled upon a familiar looking item. It's a external camera flash for DSLR, without any hesitations, I asked the store clerk to show me the item. It's a CDR King Camera Flash TT520. I have trust issues when it comes to items that has been purchased at CDR King since most of the items I bought is... a huge f***ing failure. So for 3 years of using CDR King's TT520 external flash, i'll give my own personal review on the so-called "first photography gear released by CDR King. Physical Built

Reasons why you need fiber optics internet.

Reason why you need Fiber Optics Internet 1. Growing Data Needs Newer Cameras shoots at 4K screen resolution. A 1 hour clip of a 1280x720 video clip consumes upto 20.76 GB of data while 1 hour video of 4K resolution eats a monstrous amount of 126.46 GB.  2. Future-Proof Fiber optics is proved to be a "future-proof" technology that can last for more than 25 years. Fiber optics will be able to support larger data transfer not just for telecommunication /internet use, but also for data transfer. In the near future, FTTH internet providers will be to connect fiber connection from their servers to home's Appliances. According to samsung's techblog, Samsung's SmartTV's is equipped with roughly quare-shaped port ports used to connect Fiber Optic cable.  3.Blazing Fast Connection One hair-strand of Fiber Optics can transfer up to 1 Gigabit per second. Fiber optics is One hair-strand of Fiber Optics can transfer maximum up to 10 Gigabit per second while

What is Colocation and why do I need it for my Business?

Converge ICT's Colocation Services Cannot Decide if you need Colocation services  or should you keep your servers on site? What is Colocation?  Colocation allows businesses to place their server into another company's data center rack and share their bandwidth as their own. Colocation Cost Businesses pay monthly rental fees which would enable them to lease the data center's rack space. Colocation cost may differ depending on the required racks the business needs. However, colocation services are fairly cheaper compared with the combined cost of the personnel, office space, and energy cost that server rooms spent.   Benefits of Colocation Security  Colocation offers maximum security for data stored. Data Centers are equipped with CCTV and monitoring quarters to ensure that the data and servers stored are. Colocation protects data from natural disasters such as flood, fire, and earthquakes. Leasing colocation space also pre

The Reason why I don't Install Anti-Virus Program in my Desktop PC

When I was new to desktops and computers, local technicians and computer (shops) parts sellers always recommend having anti-virus software to prevent my computers from viruses and malware. As a kid, I don't have any luxury of purchasing premium anti-virus software such as AVG, Kaspersky, or Avira anti-virus software. Computer software such as AVG or Avira cost like 2500-4000 pesos. And as an average class B student like me who had an average of 1000 pesos allowance per week cannot afford software like that. The only choice I can make before is to get free version of Anti-virus software like AVG or Avira free version.

What is FTTH Council?

FTTH started in America in 2001 Fiber to the home council is a non-profit association founded in 2001 consisting of industries and organizations that provides high-bandwidth for internet; voice services that over fiber optic connections. The council also accepts companies that provides and manufactures FTTH products and organization that are building FTTH networks. What is FTTH? Fiber to the home (FTTH) also called Fiber to the premises (FTTP) is installation and delivery of fiber-optic communication from the central point of internet service provider's switching equipment directly to users modem at home. Modern FTTH connection speeds up to 1 Gigabites per second which is 120 times faster than cable or DSL connection. FTTN (fiber to the node) is also a fiber connection similar to FTTH but their difference is, it only taps Fiber optics from the central point to the node, unlike in FTTH which is end-to-end from the ISP’s server to your home. FTTN delivers lower sp

Is 2Mbps Internet Plan Fast Enough for you?

Google's New Logo In this generation, Internet is one part of our basic need. It gives us ease on our traditional way of doing things. Internet is almost the closest thing everybody has to everything.  Making it a drug to all kinds of people. Some people like me would like to stay at home and watch YouTube videos because everything I need to entertain myself can be found on the internet.  The information it feeds us made us psychologically dependent since it contains everything we wanted, from entertainment, news, educational information, and social channel. It also allow us to read all kinds of books cheaply compared to bookstores, also it allows us to purchase and read reviews about a certain item before we can even purchase a certain item we desire.  It also provides us efficient ways to communicate to different kinds of people in long distances without the extra pay for   International Direct Dialing (IDD) rates.  The right people to help us connect to the network are d

Submarine Optical Fiber Cable Trivia

Fiber optics submarine cables provides 99% of all communication systems. Data capacity of submarine cable is estimated at 80Tb/s in single submarine cable Submarine cables are earthquake proof as it can stretch upto 30% of its total length. Marine survey on the submarine cables route were conducted before the cables are laid to ocean floor. This is done to minimize environmental disturbance and avoid possible seismic disruptions

Internet: Replacing Traditional Ways we do Things

The Philippines was named as top 16th country with high volume of the internet users by internetlivestats.com . Our country contributed to the 1.3% of the total internet users on the world with 10% growth percentage. This number signifies the need of the Filipino people to connect to the world using the internet. Sadly, only 15% of the 3.4 Million Filipino internet users have mastery on the capabilities of the internet. The remaining 85% of the users only use mainstream site “Facebook.com” as their default communication network.  They use it for gathering information about love ones, find items they wanted to buy, and to read both satire and legitimate news portals. This article aims to educate Filipinos on the use of internet besides knowing social media site like Facebook, how search engine “Google” works, and other uses of internet that some fairly know. Source of Entertainment Youtube allows you to search all kinds of entertainment you are looking for The

Techie Jargon 101 Fiber-to-the-Node (FTTN)

Since PLDT has started promoting their Fiber Optics internet campaign last December and I'm sure everyone will be looking forward to getting it. We cannot question the speed of Fiber Technology. It is significantly and undeniably faster than ADSL or Cable Internet since fiber technology uses the flicker of light to communication information through glass cable wires, unlike the electromagnetic pulse sent by ordinary copper cables from DSL.  Understanding how fiber optics work is very messy job. Jargons like FTTH, FTTD, FTTC, and FTTN are some of terms you'll encounter when a salesman is trying to sell you fiber internet for your business, yet there are many things to learn about fiber internet connection that you might need to consider.  As a reponsible netizen, I'll give you the difference between two fiber jargons, namely the FTTH and FTTN for you to understand if you're getting fiber optics directly to your PC or just to the big box found on communicatio
