Xian Gaza: Dreamboy or Conman

Welcome to the world of internet where everyone is the Cinderella of their own fantasies.  The internet in the Philippines is still young considering other third world countries internet habits.  We spend almost 12 hours being idle, sitting on our couches while glaring at the monitor of our Smartphones. Crazy scripted fail videos, funny cats and Crazy Russian hackers are some of the things that defined this internet world. Videos like these gain millions of view overnight due to the "Sharing Etiquette" of Social Media Fanatic. Due to our nature that we wanted attention and wanted to share a portion of the spotlight, we do crazy shit like reacting into other videos, or posting "supposed-to-be-funny" lipsynch called DUBSMASH(which is now fucking outdated) depending on the current trend on digital world.  And lately, there is a post by Xian Gaza, a self-proclaimed CEO and everyone's eyes in social media is locked on this dude.

This Billboard Stunt Sweet or not?

In the past days, I've seen a "ridiculous" post of a certain friend of mine. It's a post about a large billboard in Manila which is about estimatedly 30 x 40 feet about a poorly designed vector art  featuring a a  guy on a hoodie surrounded with large sum of  text. The billboard is about him asking PH Actress Erich Gonzales on a coffee date through this large billboard. According to articles related to this topic, it is said that the guy's name is "Xian Gaza", supposed to be a young CEO based in Hong Kong.

After 5,256 shares on Facebook the local news such as PEP, ABS CBN and other online bloggers pick up this story. In an instant he became an internet celebrity. People think that this act is sweet, and caught the attention of Erich Gonzales herself.  People are "kinikilig" with this photo and some of the audience are calling out Erich to say yes on the guy.

The billboard job is working well. It took the Social media on a storm gaining him more than 6000 shares per post compared with his previous post which only gets him average of 125 reactions. Everything is going well, he won the internet and made him the "Christian Gray" of today's world... Perhaps for a short period of time. Suddenly a scandal broke out on a "Tshirt for Yolanda" scandal rocked this young boy's social media success.  According to Dewanie Catapang, Xian Gaza led them to believe that he is selling tshirt  and the proceedings will be given to Yolanda Victims but it turned out that the Tshirt sold was pocketed by Xian Gaza. There are no facts and evidences linking Gaza into the controversy but his facebook page reacted quickly when basher swarmed his Facebook page calling him as "Fraud" or "Scammer."

As for our speculation, this is either publicity stunt hosted by certain group, or perhaps a viral marketing strategy propelled from Mr. Gaza himself.  Though several netizens think that he is too "arrogant" and a total "showoff." From being everybody's dreamboy, Mr Gaza is being bashed by people on social media due to his previous post which shows off everything he possesses.

Many people are impressed on the effort exerted by Mr Gaza in his billboard post. Most of the sharers of the said post were females and most of the comments are women tagging their friends on the post. Perhaps Mr. Gaza and this stunt was able to catch the attention of Filipinas due to its "Christian Gray" style. What made it more viral are the "newsportal" which picked-up this news. A friend of mine shared the post with a negative caption saying that she was impressed on how much money he spent on the billboard, but never impressed on his Facebook post.  

Gazaboy or AVG Pacific holdings is not registered in SEC.

Mr. Gaza proclaimed that he is a young CEO but there are no documents to prove that he owns it, irony with his "show-off" personality. Netizen are also questioning his wealth particularly on his claim that he is a CEO of his companies. He posted his travel photos in Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam and Hongkong but do not post his daily office in Hongkong as well as his Fleet of cars. He might have a lot of things to explain to netizens such as the inexistent AVG Pacific holdings, Gazaboy Group of Companies  (which is located in New York) or the Mindanao Pacific Holdings.

CONTRADICTED HIS OWN STATEMENT

This post of Mr. Xian Gaza dated october 22, 2016. He stated that he is the Chairman of the Board of AVG Pacific Holdings Inc. This post is less than a year which means the business should have a digital footprint or even SEC registration.  Upon searching on Google on AVG Pacific Holdings Inc., no results.We done some research on Mr. Gaza's proclaimed ownership under AVG Pacific holdings and this would show if any of his companies would show up on either DTI or SEC list if AVG Pacific Holdings is a real company and it is expecting "phenomenal success in 2025, the company should be registered in DTI or Security and Exchange Commission database. 

We spent more than 3 hours trying to browse Mr. Gaza's old Facebook post. Searching any details on the companies he owned, or co-owned to know his Net Worth.

In his post last July 2, 2017, he contradicted his statement last October about his Group of Companies. He recently announced that he is only affiliated by Guanxiqian Group and not the companies mentioned on from the image above.  In our surprise, he denied all the companies he mentioned in his previous post. in his latest post he mentioned that in he made transactions through GAZERA Media for the Tshirt Scam he got involved with.

We All want the Truth

This latest publicity stunt is very perfect, everybody is talking about it and it got national attention. At the moment, most of the reacting netizen are grilling Mr. Gaza on his Young CEO stunt.Mr. Gaza's billboard is not what made the issue an issue, but his contradicting statements and over-bragging in which irritates the netizens.  I myself get intoxicated on the degree the netizen are finding fault on Mr. Gaza, but I myself wonder what triggered this young man to make a billboard despite the fact that his previous statements will become the chink of his armor. 

No one knows and could verify information on Mr. Gaza's previous post. But DTI and SEC online database seems to be shy on giving us information on the companies mentioned by Mr. Gaza.  

Whether he is being true, or this billboard is really for erich, we do not know. But who knows if the guy is really saying the truth. 

We have yet to see this viral story.  Is it really a Dreamboy, or another publicity stunt by some digital marketing agencies. Who knows?
